Sunday night was a statement game for Viktor Stalberg.

David Brine scored short-handed 1:55 into overtime as the Rochester Americans rallied from a three-goal deficit to defeat the host Toronto Marlies, 4-3, on Saturday.
The Marlies (2-2-1) led 3-0 after one period before the Amerks rallied in front of 2,234 at Ricoh Coliseum.

The Toronto Marlies got off a plane yesterday from Scotland where on Sunday they lost 1-0 to the Hamilton Bulldogs in the Gardiner Cup final.
This four-team tournament, running from Sept. 24-27, was hosted by the Edinburgh Capitals, the lone Scottish team in the United Kingdom’s Ice Hockey Elite League.
