The Toronto Zoo has a new protector, and his name is Nassir. The two-month-old gorilla, who until now was known just as 'the baby', was given the name by his father Charles. Nassir, which means protector in Arabic, was on the short list of five names, whittled down from the 11,000 submitted in a baby naming contest to the Toronto Zoo.
